5 athletes of international standing in the world of Mountain Bike trained on Thursday 7 December on the paths near Cervo, San Bartolomeo and Andora.

The young athletes are:
Daprèla Thibaut, French, 2021 Downhill World Vice Champion
Adrien Dailly, French, athlete who competes in the Downhill and Enduro world championship
Lisandru Bertini, French, Under 21 Enduro World Champion
Simone Chapelet, French, 2018 Downhill Champion Antoine Rogge, French, 80th in the Enduro world champion ranking

and they were accompanied by the young and strong local athletes Guglielmo Abete and Simone Bianchi.

Daprèla particularly loves the more technical trails of the Dianese Gulf because they are similar to those on which he runs during the world championship.

Valter Scotto, President of the sports club: “We must continue to work so that these athletes continue to come to train here in the Dianese Gulf. Their presence is an incredible advertisement in favor of our territory, especially because they are followed by hundreds of thousands of people on social media, and just yesterday they posted photos and videos of the day they spent.

In the next few days the volunteers will continue to do cleaning work on the paths and we are waiting to welcome many Italian and foreign tourists who will come to practice outdoor sports in the weeks surrounding the Christmas holidays.”
